Pulse transformers are special types of transformers designed for passing electrical pulses or signals from one circuit to another with minimal losses. These are usually used to couple high-frequency signals from one circuit to another without any losses due to induction. In essence, pulse transformers are designed to pass high-frequency or high-voltage signals from one circuit to another by using an inductive link. Pulse transformers are designed with high-impedance, low-inductance windings, allowing them to transfer high-frequency signals efficiently. Pulse transformers are able to isolate and protect one circuit from the other, by introducing a barrier between them, preventing any cross-talk.
